does anyone know of some audio software?

Hi there, i need some software ,that i can stop what is(in audio) playing and add my verse or something to it , as the backgroud music keeps playing ? or the background hasn't got to be playing as i will only enter one word?anyone know anything?

try Audacity

Windows Movie Maker.

Just put one file in the video section (i.e, the song)
Then in the audio section, place the sound that's your own verses so it plays in the background of the song.

File > Save movie file.
