It can be one of these bits, bytes, Kilobytes, Megabytes, Gigabytes, Terabytes.
8 bits = 1 bytes
1 Kilobyte = 1024 bytes
1 Megabyte = 1024 Kilobytes
1 Gigabyte = 1024 Megabytes
1 Terabyte = 1024 Gigabytes
By the way, there is another unit called Nibble it is half of 1 bytes or half an octet or 4 Bits.

the size of the file is called kilobyte. i don't think there is such as kegabyte that exist, however there is something called Megabyte, and i believe if you take 1024 kilobyte that makes up to 1 megabyte.
I have posted two websites url, that will help you learn more about kilobyte and other bytes such as gigabyte and much more.
hope this helps.

Kilobyte.
There is no such thing as a "Kegabyte".
