Software - January 2007

Recently I wanted to install Window XP SP2 on my C drive but
some how it went to install on my D-drive .and run from there .
However I needed space and decided to format my C drive ( originally to have Window XP Home ) . However when I tried format C , my
computer said "Window was unable to complete the format " and then left my C drive intact.
Why unable ??
Since unable to format C, can someone tell me how to uninstall Window first so that I have some extra space in my c-drive to
run other files...
Appreciate some useful hints from friends around ?.

I already use MP3's (legal copies only) when I amDJ'ing - but my question is this. I want to burn a CD with my mixes on it. When I do I can only do it as one long WAV file. What I really want to do is burn a CD that shows the different tracks, rather than just one long one. Any ideas? Can I get a convertor or editor or something?

So I got a game, and I'm having trouble installing it. The game is in rar. format, so I extract it and got a mds. format file and a mdf for mat file. I used DAEMON tool to mount the mds file and I opened the folder. There are mostly Bitmap Image file, KAT format file,PSH,PSX,SFD,SFX,TEX,TRG, and VAB formated files. There is only 1 bin and I don't even know how to open it. There is no exe. or iso. file.So anyways I don't know how to install the game with all these files in it. Please help!

I'm using Nero Vision 4 for the first time ever to create a DVD. I'm putting video files onto the dvd. It's saying there isn't enough memory on the DVD (4.7GB) for all my videos. Then it says I can create more space on the DVD by disabling the option 'burn original slide show pictures'. I think this means only the title of the video shows on the menu rather than the title AND the picture of it. I've had a look for this option but can't seem to fnd it. Do any Nero experts out there know where I can find this option?

it plays other dvd-r that other people have burned for me (diff make of disc) but not mine when i put the disc in my comp it plays fine anyone have any idea whats wrong i have nero and a
sony AWG120A rewriter drive when i try to play it in dvd player it says wrong disc/no disc

An I was curious if I should Install Windows 2000 pr or XP? I hear great things about 2000. I am running Athlon 3500 64 bit, 2gb pc3200 ddr ram ,120gb hard drive 2 ati radeon 9800 cards. I never had problems w/ 2000, ony with XP. any advice would be cool. Thanks all.

I have windows XP and have lost I.E. When I try to log on I get a small black window at the top of the screen saying C:\program~1\intern~iI\iexplore.exe underneath that -This program cannot run in DOS mode. Also I cannot get Windows Media Player. Being trying to solve this for months, but this is so complicated for us oldies who have come late to new technology, but I would really like to learn more. I saw it demonstrated on the Today show this morning and got the impression that it was to establish a WiFi hot spot in your car for your lap top when you are traveling.

I am using this software, because I cannot watch my videos on my Ipod without converting them with this software first.

My concern in if the quality of the video decreases after you use Videora...

I was using the prefault option:
MPEG-4/320X240/768kbps Stereo/128kbps (how good is this one?)

but when I upload the video onto my Ipod they are found in the "Movies" category...and I want them in the "Music Video" category...

so with Videora there's this option:
MPEG-4/Music Video which allows me to put my files in my Ipod in the Muisc Video category, but does this option make your videos end up with less quality than with the other option?


Or what can I do to make my videos look awesome?
Making them 1500kbps video and 128kbps, would make them have the biggest quality an Ipod video can have?

I just want them to look perfect as good as they look on my computer!
