I've used it a lot and just recently it started doing this thing where after I download a song and try to 'launch' it it opens WMP, etc. What is this lisence? Is it something I really need? Do I have a setting off or something???

Your settings are fine. Some files are protected and are downloaded from pay sites. The license is a way to keep non paying users from using their data, or a music ripper attached a protection to pervent use by others. Delete the file at once. Sometimes these windows can be used to ferry harmful data.

You are trying to download DRM-Protected WMA files. What this means is that the file has anti-pirating junk in it, so the computer is tryng to check and see if you legally bought it.

To avoid the problem: make sure your downloading MP3 files, instead of WMAs.
