copy = higlicht, ctrl C
paste = higlight, ctrl V
And yes you can sometimes just highlight the text and then drag it where you want it.

That's not too specific but here goes.
Drag a selection box around the message, right click the selected text, click Copy.
Move to your file, right click the area you want to place it, Click Paste.

Go to the message and left click and hold on begining of message.
Move mouse while holding that button until the entire message is highlighted.
Let go. Now right click on highlighted area. Choose option that says copy.
Go to where you want it pasted. Move your cursor in the desired area. Now right click again. Choose paste.

You mean a system dialog message or email? Dialog box message, [alt]+[print screen], then in the file (paint or office, ect...) press [ctrl]+[v]. If you mean a email, click and drag, then copy. and so on...

well why not have both the file and document on your desktop and then drag it into your folder...that always works for me instead of having 2 cut and paste..or cut and paste if u only want part of whatever it is that u want and then put it in a microsoft word document and then save it to your desktop and then drag it into your file

what type of computer are you on? if it a pc then highlight what you want to copy and paste and then right click. go down to copy and click. then go to what you want to paste it to. in the blank screen right click and go down to paste and click. this should help.if you are on a mac the highlight what you want then go to up to "edit" and go down to copy. you should know then how to paste it.

Highlight what you want then hold the CTRL button down along with C on your keyboard, Then to Paste it hold the CTRL button down again along with V. Should work!
