It may, but, no guarantee. Check the Game's Website if possible or try contacting their Tech Support. They may have an upgrade you can Download or a Plug-in for Vista.

I suspect that is more a case of it SHOULD, but there is no guarantee. Some testing we have done at work on apps working in the new platform basically shows that some applications will, some will not. A similar issue was faced for apps and Games that ran on Windows NT4, and would absolutely not run on later games. I have one game that runs ONLY on NT4. Check and make sure your game runs on Vista. From all I have seen , I would say do not rush to Vista, it has a long LONG way to go.

If the computer game is from 2003, than it may not work due to the compatibility issues of graphics, etc . . . on the games part. To find out for sure, use the Windows Vista Upgrade Adviser. This program will scan your computer to make sure it is Vista capable and it will scan for any compatibility issues that some programs (Anti-Virus, etc . . . ) may encounter during the upgrade. Here is the link, and good luck!! : ) : http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/upgradeadvisor/default.mspx

I have never experience a problem with a software running on later OS but designed for earlier OS
However, if you do, Windows has a feature called compatibility wizard. It helps you to configure Windows to run the software you specified in older Windows environment and settings.

Enjoy your game.

If it uses extremely old, antiquated APIs, you might have to download a few patches. Other than that, Windows Vista should be fully backwards compatible with most software.
