i'm looking for a good but under $50 firewall. i dont want mcafee or norton. also i was wondering wat kind of program would delete viruses and spyware etc. from your computer.

I have a logo and I would like to remove the white background. It is an eps file.
I cannot get my magic wand in Illustrator to do anything--I click it on the image and nothing happens. When I open the file in Photoshop I can use the magic wand and select the white background no problem, but then when I delete the white background it just turns the background to black (I need it to be transparent).
I have pretty limited experience with Illustrator and photoshop so any advice would be really appreciated!

latest beta version of limewire is
LimeWire Basic (Beta version 4.13.0)

and of frostwire is
FrostWire 4.13.1.4 BETA

the latest beta of frostwire was released *after* latest beta of limewire became available (i'm not sure about this though). so does the latest frostwire beta include improvements/changes present in latest beta of limewire (this is desirable....)

i have installed FrostWire 4.13.1.4 BETA on my computer and would like to know whether installing LimeWire Basic (Beta version 4.13.0) too would cause problems with any of these. actually i have read that both these are almost same internally and built over same code base, so i wonder if there could be any problem with registry settings or shared dll files or any other kind of clashes/overwriting etc among them

i just scanned something using OCR on ducument imaging and i transported it to Microsoft word! everything came out really messed up though.. it used to be a chart,, but the words are in the wrong order and everything. i really want to edit this! what do i do?

I don`t know witch windows should i buy. There are many windows, Xp, xp profesional, Xp64, media center, vista, etc. I want the windows specialy for gaming, or most for, the second use would be for the internet, but i really want a windows for GAMING.

In my pictures folder i had a bunch of photos transferred there which arrived in individual files. I clicked on all and moved them to a designated folder in my pictures so they'd be all in one place. After moving I noticed there were copies made and hanging around. Each time I try to delete them, many extra copies are created. Now when I open my pictures folder, there are a hundred copies of each of the original 60. What did I do wrong and how can I delete them without creating more. Each time I delete even a single one, several copies are then created. Its weird. Please help. I already tried using disc cleanup to rid temp internet files as these pics came from my yahoo photos. Help!

im am trying to install windows xp home edition on to my windows 98. every time i try to install it tells me that it cannot write to the disk. my disk is NOT write protected, it has 18GB of free space, and is not set to read only or anything like that. if you know any solutions to why my disk "cannot be written to" please tell me.

I want to clear everything off my hard drive except for the neccesary Windows program files and such. I know about system restore, but I want to do a little bit more than that. Does anyone know of like a program that I can purchase or download that will wipe the hard drive, or if I reinstall Windows, will that do the trick?

I checked the "read only " check box in the security tab and it's not checked but it saved to the CD as "read only". All the word files I save, automatically save in "read only" . How can you change that. I want to be able to change them on the CD when I want.
