its just taking days and some weeks to download

There are two possible reasons for slow downloads:
1) It could be the files you are specifically downloading. It could be that there aren't a lot of seeders (peers who have downloaded the file and are making it available for others) for those files. If there aren't a lot of people making the file available, download speeds will be slow.
2) The other reason could have to do with firewall / network / connection issues. I recommend reading the uTorrent faq for numerous solutions for slow downloading:

Broadband,
but other things come into play,
got your correct ports open, if your on a router,
how many seeds, how many leechers.
A lot of public trackers are dog slow.
Try to stick to invte sites, they run like the wind.
