I wrote a column for a fansite and sadly I lost the entire column due to a viral hack on my forum.

I still have the link to the column, is there anyway I can get a cached version of it or some way of being able to view it once more so I can back up my work?

im able to import a video in windows movie maker, but now the sound from the video is still on, i tried importing the audio for music but i still hear the audio from the video in the background. can someone give me a step by step?

This weekend is my brother's wedding and i'm trying to put together a slideshow which includes pictures but also videos. I've seen software online that does this but I can't seem to find the serial number or crack code for the program. Can anyone help me out?
I'm on an extremely tight budget so that's why I can't buy the software.

It says

Is this a real windows problem or some kind of virus or spyware?
I am not sure how to fix this I didn't find anything in help.

I want to burn a CD-ROM onto anyother CD. so I downloaded something called Burn express. and i have no idea how to use it, and its too confusing. It gives me absolutely no directions. Anybody know how to teach me to burn a cd rom on burn express? or do you reccomend a burning software thats easy to burn CD ROMS?

ve got a windows XP cd and its not working booting from that, so thats why im using DOS so how would i boot and use DOS without being on C: drive?

HI, I have adobe photoshop cs2 on my pc. I never have had any problems with it until now. My problem is that I was makeing a new backround for my computer, so I filled out the new template as:
height-1440 pixels
width-900 pixels
resolution 250 pixels/inch
rgb color-16bit.

after I Click ok, the template opens up. Now when I go to filters and try to use effects, only 8 choices are able to be chosen (blur, distort, noise, render, sharpen, stylize, video, and other), and even after going to one of those, there is only like one effect in each catagory that I can use. but when I make a smaller size photo, I can still use the effects. I do have a pretty decent computer, athlon 64 x2 4600+ (dualcore), 2gb ram, geforce 7950GT videocard, good tempature overall, 19'' wide mon. Ive used photoshop for over a year now, so what am I doing wrong? also, I just got a new computer, so I just recently installed it on the new computer. Would reinstalling it do anything? thanks alot! -George

I have about 100 excel sheets of music fans who have entered in their information.

The fields are: First Name, Last Name,Street Address, City,State, Zip Code,E-mail,Birth Month, Birth Day, Birth Year,Date,Artist,Venue,Venue City,Venue State.

I would like to know how many fans I have captured per excel sheet, and the total averages of birthdays, i.e. how many people are in the range of 12-17, 18-24, 25-34, 34-44, 45-54).

Cause the windows default appearance editor seems almost incomplete. As in, I can change everything exactly where I want, but theres always a few places that I can't change, like programs. I had a black background, and things like, Yahoo AntiSpy was...well...pure black. Even the font. I could change all the font to white, and it still didn't work. So, is there any program that makes it easier and better?

I have recently bought a BTC USB 2.0 16x DVD Writer from Maplin.

I have installed all of the stuff off the 2 discs that came with it and pretty well understand that what I have now are basic "working versions" of Nero software, that if I want to upgrade to a full blown, all singing and dancing version I can, by just clicking the button and sending my money.

No problems so far - don't they all do this sort of thing?

After the installation, and looking at my Desktop, I see several new shortcuts. In particular, there is a shortcut that when hitting it, (sorry, double clicking!), it doesn't seem to do anything at all. Nothing initialises, nothing comes up on the screen - all that happens is the hard drive light flickers for a bit as though something is loading and then nothing.

The shortcut is for "musicmatch JUKEBOX".

The information that came with the box and on-line is very limited.

Does anyone have any ideas or information on what this does or what I should do?

I have tried Add/Remove Programs but a message says I need to install all McAfee components before I can accomplish this (removing the security center). I do not think I have any other McAfee programs on here. This could be aggressive advertising--no uninstall component is available. What is the method to rid myself of McAfee security center?
