windows movie maker question...?

im able to import a video in windows movie maker, but now the sound from the video is still on, i tried importing the audio for music but i still hear the audio from the video in the background. can someone give me a step by step?

In Windows Movie Maker(WMM) just on the left side of the story board there is a Icon that looks like a little equilizer...its the one way on the left...its Blue and square...It is for setting volumes from the music or from the main movie...hope this was any help..
