I used Firefox and random pop ups keep popping up. I'm thinking it's some sort of spyware installed in my machine. How do I get rid of it? Are there any FREE programs that I can use to get rid of it? Thanks

Get a FireFox extension called AdBlock Plus and your trouble is over.

if you are running xp you can go to http://safety.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm and there is a free scanner there. it does various things like scan for spyware and virus, it also can remove invalid registry entries which can speed up your pc. it is a Microsoft product.
