Security - September 2007

I wanna know is this an error or is someone actually hacking your computer when something like this happens? This has occured on several occasions and whenever it happens I quickly try to shut down my computer. Could someone also advice me on how to deal with this so I don't have to restart everytime this happens?

ok my dad keeps putting norton on our computer but it never helps, and i use to have a thing off the internet that worked really well, but my dad redid the whole computer because he is a complete idiot well anyways is there another virus protectent off the internet because norton never helps

I wish to completely remove Norton AV, however the above is stuck in the folder and can't be deleted.

I hate norton, it quite literally stains your PC with more problems than those it solves!

i mean his laptop has wireless card so he can also surf internet through my connections but he lives in next door apartment. all i want to know is how safe is my data transactions over the websites as he is also using the same connections wirelessly but we dont have any networking between our laptops but i still have doubt like can he access my information on my laptop or is anyway i can catch him as he is using my connection but he is not equally paying and denying of using my connections wirelessly

is any way i can catch him , i can put password but i dont want to do that i just want to know how safe my data's / information is .

i have norton antivirus, but i think its an old version and today after i went to website to get layouts for myspace, Norton pop up on my screen telling me "You have a virus on your computer/Name: Trojan Horse, Unable to repair file" Please i don't know anything about this stuff, help me fix it, thank you in advance.

For example, I am watching a movie through a site through Mozilla Firefox. Suddenly, I need an information about something. I cannot close the present window. Pausing it for a while, I click the another browser Internet Explorer and search. After my search is over I am returning to Mozilla and continue to watch the movie. Can I do this? Will this cause any conflict?

Hi all. I really need to delete my Internet History from my Work Computer (Internet Explorer). Nothing bad on it but i've been surfing a lot the last couple of months and i have to get rid of the evidence. I know your going to say, Tools, Options, Delete History, That option is there but it wont let me click on Delete History. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

it lists the cookies that it thinks are threats in red and it says i should take action against them some have registry keys but some dont also they have references to windows and stuff what do i do? i dont wanna delete something that is important but also dont want sh+t adverts that have started when i opened a face book site they have only started since then thanks!
