you should be able to do this yourself. you can delete net history, clear cookies and temp internet files, do a disk defrag, theres also a disk cleanup that you can do yourself. if you want the whole thing squeeeky clean then, save your files onto a backup disk and run the install disk and reinstall your computer, download updates and put all your files back on there from the backup. do not waste money on something you can do yourself.

No, the registry cleaners are not much good unless you pay for it. Some of the free registry cleaners will find a couple of things that it can repair, but I don't think it is worth running them.
Ccleaner is the best cleaner I have found. In fact, it works TOO good. When I ran it on my gf's computer, it deleted her sound card driver. When I ran it on my computer this morning, now I can't sign in to Yahoo! Messenger. But I still recommend Ccleaner, because it does a great job.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.healthboostpc.com
It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

CCleaner is a good cleaner, free download available at the website by the same name.
It'll clean temp files, unused log files, broken or bad registry items, cookies, history, etc. , all with just a click of a button.
