You can't. Well maybe on your machine but not on the network.
If you haven't been brought into your supervisors office and confronted about your internet habits then thank the good Lord. I spent some time as a network admin. I had the ability to see when, where and how long someone was surfing the internet. I had the ability to control the type of files people downloaded. I only reported one person to their boss the entire time I was there. The young lady spent her entire day surfing the internet and ATTEMPTING to download music in the form of wma mp3s and the like. When I found her trying this I went to her and told her what she was doing was illegal and to cease doing it. In reality if she were caught downloading illegal fies on the network they would come after the person who controls the internet access. ME. So I told her to stop. She did for a few months then suddenly I was seeing google searches for alternative downloading of mp3s in the form of zip files and such. After reading her history of surfing all day long. ( I could see when she went to take a smoke break she was surfing so much ) And her persistant searching of files I closed off her access to everything but email. I then wrote a report to her and my boss outlining what I had done. I also saved and printed out her activities just on that day alone. It was almost an inch thick of paper. She had the nerve to complain to the boss that she needed access to the internet for email. I covered it with her access to mail only. And the boss was nervy enough to ask me to remove the restrictions. Even though we had a policy outlining illegal and such. I said sure but I needed the request in writing so that my backside was covered. She said never mind.
But your boss may be different. Your boss may have noticed your "lack" of productive activity. And will go to your network admin and ask for your activities on the internet. I kept my internet access logs up to 7 months. Not sure what your companies policies are for log keeping. But rest assured if they want your internet history they will look on the server to see where your ip has gone that day that week or month(s).
So my advice to you short of paying off your admin is to not play on the net and to work like the dickens and if you get noticed it is because you are a fireball in the office and taking on more and more responsibilities. The last thing you want is for deadlines to approach and you have no progress. After a couple months you can start to breathe a little easier...
Dang internet is addictive isn't it?
Good luck...

This can vary from different computers. But there is a file which contains all the information. Right click start, and select explore. It will be somewhere in your documents. Possibly shared. Sometimes the file will ahve a different name so I can be too specific.

Should say clear history
Go to how many days do you want history kept, click on the arrows and go to 0. That deletes them for now and from now on.

Hi to you too,
you should try pressing ctrl and H (on your keyboard), then you will see all the websites you have visited (if your using IE) in the past three weeks. Now to delete just click on any of them and press the delete button.
P.S: this works for mozilla firefox too.
