You can configure your browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc) to block specific websites. But this is all manual, and you cannot possibly block every single bad site.

The easiest thing to do, I believe, is to install a parental control software such as NetNanny:

Good luck!

1) What qualifies you to make the decision of what is not suitable for kids? Shouldn't that be left up to the parents of each kid?

2) Unless the website is enticing minors to the site, they are a business that has the right to operate, even if you object to their content.

3) Work to improve rating systems for sites. A rating system will allow parents to implement controls to limit what their kids visit. (i.e. NetNanny or any other monitoring application)

4) I'm sure there are legal repercussions to intentionally interupting a website.

You want to stop them or spam them? Coz both aren't possible if the websites don't belong to you. You can only block them. Get into your browser's settings and block websites that you don't want your kids to see.

Better yet, call your Internet service provider and ask them if they offer some kind of filtering service to protect children from evil online stuff to the best they can. Then perhaps you would want to subscribe.

As much as I'm against censorship....

You can get a digital filtering program that you can setup to allow or disallow any sites you feel are in the right viewership for you children.

The one that comes off the top of my head is net nanny - you get this type of software and it allows monitoring as well as web site restriction.

Be aware that if your children are savy or teenagers then they most likely know how to bypass these filters.
