Once you get a security software program like CA or Norton on your system, it can be a difficult job to get rid of them. These type of programs are very invasive, one, because they have to be, and two, because they want to be difficult to entirely disable/delete. Usually a security program un-install will not remove all the product associated files, and even after an un-install, you will be hounded by the software. Best advice:
1. run control panel, add/remove programs, remove software.
2. Run 'Search for all files' with keywords of your old program, such "CA", Norton", etc. If anything related comes up in the search results, right click and delete. Search aggressively for any remnants of your old security system, and keep deleting any you find. You might want to block the IP address of CA in your browser also, or you might keep getting more notifications of the CA program.

You may have their software installed on your computer. It may be expired, so you will need to remove it. The first security software that this company manufactures that comes to mind are the EZ Trust products. Enter your Control Panel, and click on the Add/Remove Programs icon. Once that is available, scroll through the list until you find something that is associated with CA Associates or the EZ Trust software, highlight the entry, and click on Change/Remove. Proceed through the uninstall process to remove the software from your computer. You may need to reboot to complete the uninstallation.
