Please tell me about Linux. I am locked out of Windows XP PRO by error message 0x80090019.
My copy of Windows XP is registered and valid but I cannot logon, not even in safe mode. If I install Linux on my unused partition, will I be able to access files and pictures I created using Windows XP? Is it even possible?

How do I do the installation? I don’t even know where to purchase Linux or what it cost.

i just recieved an odd email from a foreign woman about her business and she asked me to join her business and some other stuff. i'm not very good at computers, so forgive me for asking this question, but has anyone else got an email of this sort? could the email be something more sinister than a business request? my computers not too good as it is, could i have gotten a virus or something

okay so i wanted to run this spyware scan on my pc because its pretty old and crashes a lot and im pretty sure theres something wrong with it......my antivirus-spyware does not work on it....it refuses to delete the virus or whatev it is. i wanted to use this...but i wanna know if its gonna work and not one of those scams that just makes everything worse...

It seems that everytime I visit something online, the next day I get like ten spam e-mails about that subject. I have AVS along with spybot and spycleaner and also CCleaner. So far I haven't seen them do any good. Could someone tell me how to stop this? Thanks so much!

My daughter told me to open an e-mail and click on unsubscribe but all I did was open a pandora's box because now I'm inundated with unwanted and unwarranted sexual e-mails explicitly detailing what I can have done to me by all sorts of indecent propsals. I fed up with the invation of my e-mail account and at wits end trying to get rid of them, including legally if I have to. Pls someone out there help me. Thanks.
