If your browser is saying it is a phishing site it probably is. Many crooks are duplicating well known and well browsed sites in order to steal personal informaiton.

Contact Apple and tell them that this is occuring on "their" site, don't give any information or use this version! Go to a different computer to access the real site, or type in the real URL manually and then see if it comes out clean. If not, use a different computer. Get the phone number and report this event.

Trust your browser right now. It is set up to evaluate the URL and other features of websites to make sure the are the legitimate website. When it is a copy of a website you get this warning. I had this happen with my banks website. I contacted the bank, reported it, and they did something to fix the issue. I did not use the site when it was flashing the warning that the site was not the legitimate site, and I am glad I paid attention and trusted my browser or these crooks whould have had access to my entre bank acount and all my personal information such as my social security number, name, address, and bank account numbers.

What link did you click on to download iTunes. You should uninstall your current iTunes program and go to apple website and download it from there. Go here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download the latest iTunes software and install it. Don't let anyone phish your iTunes account as they may obtain your sensitive information such as your credit card number. I hope this information I have provided for you helps you. Good Luck!!!
