I have two business computers that need to have internet access for emailing reports and for remote management, but I want to make sure employees are not goofing around on-line while working. So what's the best method for blocking web surfing? For what it's worth, both computers have Windows XP Professional.

I don't want to completely block surfing because I do want to be able to access a handful of sites that relate to our business.

For what I'm trying to do, would a content filter like Net Nanny be my best choice? What other options do I have and would any be better than a content filter?

The problem is that when i got my computer i didn't get an anti virus for it because i don't really know that much about computers and i didn't know which one will be the best for mine, plus i didn't have money to pay for a good one and know my computer is having a lot of problems with this virus cause every time i open the Firefox i get a lot of trash and porn coming trough my computer. My husband has a friend and he said he will fix it but he is really busy and i don't really like to bother him, so if somebody knows something that can help me i'll be very thankful.

look, we had to do some repairs in the house and we also had to go to work. Last week a guy came to do some repair things and we had to leave him alone and go to work.

last night i just wanted to login my ebay account and suddenly i saw an unknown ID appeared in the id field. ( you know that via cookies once you enter a name or something, when you just duble click the already-enteries would show up ). So when i saw that unknown ID appeared i shocked.

I though i ended up that the young guy from last week had turned my laptop on and checked his eBay account. Now i wanna sue the company where he works for.

Apart from what i explained, how else you think i can prove that he did such nasty thing ? I need to be prepared before i move.

Thanks for any tip

My boyfriend has a history of watching porn on the internet, I have talked to him about it and he promised he would never do it again. That lasted about a month. He got smart and started deleting the sites he doesn't want me to see from the history and he found out that I can find out where he has been thru the tools, internet options and he now deletes the cookies and all the other info he doesn't want me to see every time. Is there any other way I can I can find out what sites he's going on with out him knowing?

I was away for a weekend and my younger brother installed lots and lots of free games from the internet. We got spyware. I went through my hard drive and deleted all files and programs he installed. My browser was and is still very slow. I then ran spybot search and destroy AND kaspersky anti-virus but both showed nothing wrong. I checked my processes and found lots of new process that were never there before such as StarWindService, mDNSRResponder, mim and a few others. When I try to end these processes it says that access is denied. Any idea how to get things back to normal?

My question is about either getting a new computer or getting my old one fixed. I have a laptop. You see, my old one has a lot, I'm talking, a lot of virues on it, it was all because of some pop up that I accidently clicked on and it decided to download and add a bunch of crap to my computer that I didn't want. Plus, my screen is kind of broken. It wiggles, it only stays in one certain spot, it doesn't move like its supposed to. My computer has also become very slow lately too. My computer is three years old. It's not that old but it really sucks now. It's been dropped to many times too. Should I just get a new computer or use that money and fix it but would it be worth it? Also, for everyone who reads this watch out for a popup called WinAntiSpyware2007, funny isn't it, that an ANTI virus protection caused the virus. Just thought I would warn you. Any help would be great by the way.
