most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser.

you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus. i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar.

firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser.

as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE. download firefox for free, Just have a try:

In my experience, you need more than one spyware program to remove all spyware from your computer. I don't know why it's like this. Certain spyware won't be touched by some spyware removal tools, but can be removed by others. Wierd, huh?

I use AdAware and Spybot spyware removal programs and I feel very confident they are doing a good job of keeping my computer clean of spyware. You can download both programs for free on the Internet. Follow the links below to download each program. They're free.

McAfee is good but it isn't the best anti spy program out there. If you want a top dog antispyware program that won't interfere with McAfee get Spy ware Doctor.

Sounds like your computer may have a new variant of the ubiquitous Smitfraud infection. Almost all "general purpose","all-in one" spyware and virus removal programs such as AVG, Norton, or Spybot S & D cannot remove it.

Free Smitfraud removal tool is here:

You need more than 1 antispyware software (like someone else said). I sugges you download a few free trials, scan you computer and see which software find the most spyware.

Here's a good start (go to the bottom of the page):

Personally, I think Mcaffe is horrible because they warn you about the things that dont harm your computer while the real viruses slip past its firewall. I always use Norton Protection center.
