Most people are unaware of the fact that everytime they visit any site that site drops a cookie on your machine. From there there are some very unscrupulas sites out there that then give trade or sell your info and the next thing you know you have 2 tons of pop-up and then you get viruses and trojans as well. You mist be very wary when on the Internet. These sites seem to pray on the younger generation. Only because they ar unaware of it.

not sure what pop up blocker or anti virus you run but try these.
Spybot/Ad Aware/ AVG/ & ccleaner to start with. download them make sure that they are all updated then run them. odds are they will also tell you that your pop up blocker is spyware as well.

Running these programs are a darn good start if not total solution for your problems
