yea it sucks.. Even i know how to bypass it. To lock your computer.. go into safe mode

I believe it was.. Once you turn on your computer, or reset it.. Keep hitting F8. You may hear beeps, but thats normal. Choose Safe Mode. It loades to the login screen, shows Administrator and your User name (every computer has this)

Go into Administrator (usually unlocked) And password that one. Then reset into normal mode and password your account (usually this one is the only one showing when not in safe mode)

Now there are other ways to bypass this, but your friend would have to be REALLY smart

There is a way to go into your BIOS by hitting Delete when your computer is starting up. There is a place to put a password so that everytime your computer is turned on you have to type in your password before it will even start loading Windows.

It may depend on the operating system. There are some systems, like Windows 2000, that you cannot "lock down". There are also exploits in WIndowns XP that allow someone to get in. Linux has its issues as well. What OS are you running?

Just go into safe mode and change the password.
