I know that I'm supposed to open the program to uninstall norton but i can't because everytime I try to it hang! I want uninstall it because i cannot even use the internet because of it. Everytime I go on window explorer the page is blank and i can't log on to any messenger. I tried going to control panel to remove norton but it doesn't work either! Help please.

I currently have Norton antivirus and I am an AT&T subsciber and I know I cannot have BOTH antivirus programs. I will have to renew my norton within the next week and I was wondering is the FREE antivirus as good as Norton or should I just stick with the one I have and pay the price. Overall I am satisfied with the product. I use my computer for my business and I cannot afford to have it CRASH on me. Anyone with advice please respond ASAP. If you have another program to recommend please do so. THANKS!!

I got sent this file called images.zip, my friend said "You look awfully funny in this picture, no joke" and I unzipped and, silly me, ran it!

So now, every 10 minutes or so, I send out another "Look at this picture" or "Who is this on the right?" to all my online contacts, and those unwitted enough to open it gets the virus too.

I have 2 addresses-one with Verizon cause I have thier DSL-but they only have room for blocking 50 senders. Yahoo has 500, but I am getting tired of deleting 20 bulk messages/day-let alone transferring the domains to the block list. my computer and installed AVG antivirus and kept with my Windows Firewall and various antispyware. I have noticed when I have to open an email attachment that it still says Norton on the box that I have to click on to download, it has confused me as to how it can do this as I uninstalled it?
