P2P programs allow peoples computers all over the world to be computer hosts. It is not the p2p program that has the virus, it is the computer you are downloading from. The safest way is just to buy whatever music, program, video, etc. you want. Other popular p2p programs are Emule and Ares.

do not download ares anywhere except this link. ares has alot of problems of people selling ares to it's user's. ares is completely free and the maker puts out all his work on sourceforge concerning ares.
thats how people get virus copies of ares downloading someplece then its home site.

oh u mean a p2p programs where ppl d/l illegal copies of media ? no all p2p sites are infested with viruses. just buy the music and u wont have theses problems. its much better then getting sued by the riaa for piracy.
