i had problems with my pc i had spyware and viruses i think now i have got programs to get rid of them but when i scroll down on my mouse the pc goes in slow mo and it take ages to do everythin???????????????????can some1 help plz i have only had the pc a few months and its rather annoying.THANKS midge

Yesterday I opened a link that I think its the problem. Now everytime Windows starts, Windows Messenger would start up followed by a Program Alert from Norton Internet Security asking whether to allow services.exe. If I allow it, Norton antivirus would detect the virus, Trojan Dropper.

I have Norton Anti-Virus, but the laptop has been acting funny ever since a week ago when I remember watching many videos on Youtube. But I always watch videos on Youtube, and I heard that it's not possible to get a virus from Youtube, especially with a Norton Anti-Virus! What could this problem be?

Okay I posted a horrifying email I got about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I took it down, so IF the person that sent it doesn't know I am looking into what I can do.

I have a good idea who sent me this email, but I am not 100% sure. How can I make sure who its from, before I take it to the police?

Also can I just print it out and take it to the police, and let them handle the rest?

I can't sign in to msn because of them. I wanted to upgrade to Beta, and after i did it stopped working. I was unable to sign in. I uninstalled it and now it doesn't work either. The troubleshooter says it's because of the firewall. Help would be highly appreciated.

My question is, how are they still getting in and wreaking havoc, esp with my e-mail program, I have to date, spybot,ad-aware and AVG installed on my computer, as back ups to my subscribed NormanVC.
I update regularly and run the other programs different times just to catch what Norman is letting thru. But still they come and I am getting mighty sick of always cleaning up. I use Firefox but kids prefer IE7 and I am almost sure this is where these things are coming from. So even if I have all these programmes etc, I am now not sure if thier profiles are properly protected.
I will be grateful to hear any other theories and ideas as to how I can better the situation. I do hope I've made myself understandable, not very fluent in computer speak I'm afraid..

just downloaded the last king of scotland preview on limewire when avg scanned it trojan horse virus contaminated file came up i didnt av a clue what to do so i put it in vault what ever that means how do i get rid or is is safe 2 leave it i have defraged, disc cleaned up . and deleted all cookies internet files is there any more i can do pc is running ok at moment ta 4 any good advice

I tried spybot, noadware and changing home page thru internet options. That works for a short time then home page option reverts to "none".

In the bottom-right hand corner of my computer screen is this red circle with a X in it, when I highlight it is says that my computer in infected.
What should I do to get rid of it?
