You could buy any of the big name firewall programs from a software store. ZoneAlarm is a tested freeware firewall that is supposed to be good. Windows itself has a firewall feature you can enable.

dear i am with the same problem.i have Norton anti virus, and after scanning for virus it finds nothing .but when i visit or open a browser say go ogle ,another window pops up saying i am not permitted to open the site, some sarogate.com and even the other one.now, i am at lost to find a solution.i am also with the fear to download any free anti spam or anti virus. let us hope some nice guy to answer us a clue to end this.bye

I know that the o/s provided to Cable Routers now have the option of blocking websites. When my child gets to the point of surfing the internet, there will be a lot of ports and sites blocked, to try and keep her safe.

I recommend Nortern Internet Security. It has firewall, anti-virus and anti-spam. Works great as a package.

no, no specific firewall, but I would recommend ZoneAlarm (its free!). Go to www.zonelabs.com. Hope this helps!! :-)
