How can I block them from even getting to my email? They go to my trash, but they are annoying. I use Thunderbird. I looked for a way to opt out and there is nothing in the email to allow me to do that.

I'm not very computer literate! I lent my laptop to my 14 year old cousin, and apparently he was looking up porn on it. (Boys!) Anyway, when he returned it, I kept getting these alerts saying that my system was at risk due to spyware... But when I clicked on it for info all it did was take me to a website for "SpyDawn". It just didn't seem legit... so I went offline, ran a full system scan with Norton, and everything turned up clean. I then went into the control panel and deleted two programs that had been installed while my cousin had the computer. One of these was a "System Alert Popup" that was very difficult to get rid of - the computer crashed every time I tried to remove it. Once I succeeded, the SpyDawn popup stopped showing. I thought I was done, but just two minutes ago, another random alert popped up on my computer (something about a Trojan), and when I clicked on it, it took me to another iffy website - "Pestcapture". What do I do?

i was looking at some things online and got some type of virus while downloading a video(not what you think). Now i have AVG antivirus an dit says it deleted the virus....BUT i keep on getting popup windows on my computer advertising fake anti-virus programs sking me to download them. Now of course i haven't because im not an idiot but i don't know how to stop the pop-ups. oh, and i also have run scans with my Spybot Search and Destroy and it also says they have been deleted but its getting crazy. I go 2 school, come home and there are like 75-100 pop-up windows on my desktop. I just don't know what to do. So please any help would be greatly appreciated. =)

I'm looking like a registry mechanic type program that is high quality, free to download, and does computer scans and removal (or repair). The programs I downloaded last week only scan and you have to pay for it to remove/repair the errors. It kind of irritated me as you can imagine...Thanks!!!

My parents just paid to renew their Norton Internet Security.. in the middle of downloading it stopped and said there was an error. They exited the download and went to start it all over again and it picked up where the download left off. This happened 3 times. After the download was complete, they tried to activate the desktop icon.. but a window popped up saying "File corrupt." What gives?

I get email messages with short funny movies - my firewall pops up every time - trying to connect to a remote IP address. It's the same everytime. Why would it do it? When I hit 'deny' everything works anyway. Address is 205.250.40.254 - Spy Ware??? Can I send em a virus from my Vault? Thanks.
