I'm looking like a registry mechanic type program that is high quality, free to download, and does computer scans and removal (or repair). The programs I downloaded last week only scan and you have to pay for it to remove/repair the errors. It kind of irritated me as you can imagine...Thanks!!!

http://www.iobit.com this free tool fix's registry errors and blocks a lot of spyware,also has a tool option that frees up ram memory.download it then run the updates first before running it. then run scan,and then click fix.(repair) it will show a lot of unprotected security at first time ran,but that's because it hasn't immunized your PC against its definitions.run this tool every couple days and keep your PC running fine.you have to check for updates manually ,unless you buy the pro version.but all you do is click on update and its fast,why pay.good luck

Crap Cleaner ... Not only does it get rid of temp files, but it also scans the registry and looks for junk.

I use Crapcleaner to scan my registry. I've never had a problem with it. http://ccleaner.com/

u can try seraching it in www.download.com.... There a quite lot of software to download from there and most is free to try...
