retreiving data from hard disk?

is it possible to retreive my Yahoo messanger chat archive/history even after I have completely deleted the archive and history manually. Is it possible to retreive it from the hard disk wihout having to format it?

http://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm no gaurantee you'll be able to find the files you want tho

Usually once you have deleted you cannot retrieve again unless you take the chance with some expensive and potentially dangerous software from a source you are unfamiliar with. Just chalk it up as a loss and be careful when you delete. Peace!
