MLB.com always brings up this popup "This page uses fonts that need to be temporarily installed. This is usually safe. Do you want to allow these fonts to be downloaded?" How do I stop this from coming up every time. It pops up between every page on the site. I want to know how to stop it.

Ok, here's my question.

1) In the administration login for a wireless router, is there a section which shows the web addresses for sites visited by computers on that network??

2) If yes, how long is that log kept? Is it ever deleted after a certain timelength (similar to web browsers' History file)?

3) How are these websites logged (assuming they ARE, of course)- as a www.xxx.com, or as an I.P. address with the numbers??

4) If the wireless router is set up to encrypt, will those addresses continue to be identified on the administrator's login?

Thank you so much if you can help me!!! I need to know if I need to get my own internet access or if I can safely piggyback on the 'rent's connection!

Will I get a virus before I get to scan it to make sure its safe, or could it open by itself just from being on my hard drive. I know exe program by themselves can be run atumaticly, but what if its in rar or zip format?

Please help me. Every few weeks, I get a call from various random people whom I don't konw who insist that they are getting repeated calls from my phone number. I didn't call them. What's worse, it's not just that my number shows up in caller i.d. (I did see the ad on yahoo answers for www.spoofcard.com), but that the phone call really did come from my phone number, as they pressed whatever button it is to call someone back. I switched cell phone companies, but still get these calls. Someone told me that these spoof calls may come from creditors, but the last two people insisted this couldn't be the case. I'd appreciate any help you can give me.
These are not people I know, I've never called them, they are not my friends. Their phone numbers do not show up on my phone as people I've called. And my phone is a flip phone, so it can't make calls without being opened.

my outlook is infected by virus. I would like to know how does email virus works.
1 will email virus create its own content and spread around?
or
2it will spread only my existing mail?
or
3it will spread all my existing and delected mails
or worse still
4 it will go to my PC(my document and so on) to send mail and attachment to all people?
so which is correct? pls help. tks.

Any one here can explain to me how does yahoo email a/c get infected by virus and mails get automatically sent to addresses? I have this doubt as Yahoo email account is a web based account which is different from outlook so how does the virus attack work?

I uses IE7 and my homepage is replaced by http://thesafetytool.com whenever I launch my IE,this page with a pop up tell me I got virus or spyware in my system and ask me to download their antivirus software. Please tell me how can I remove it. I have tried downloading AVG and norton but it cannot help. Appreciate your kind reply

they're ******* annoying. It's the same one evry time and it won't go away. They pop up like every 2 minutes. And it appears on taskbar on the botom of the screen. It keeps telling me to download this scan thing but I don't want to. PLZZ help!

my anti virus up dates run out tomorrow, but im staying on the same internet provider till the 22nd of this month. but as we know its xmas and i cant afford the charge so i need to know if there is anywhere i can have a free down load of anti virus just to get me over. or if its that good to keep later and pay for? help. ty

Currently, I have Norton but it's about to expire and I'd like to see what else is out there. Ideally, I'd like to protect my laptop from viruses and spyware and all those other nasties out there. Also, since it's a laptop, there's only so much memory I can use for this...Any recommendations? and Why? Thanks!

Instead of opening my browser to my homepage, http://www.yahoo.com, some kind of malicious software is changing my homepage to http://www.atotalsafety.com, and I am getting constant pop-up messages which try to get me to download security software (anti-spy, anti-adware, scans for spyware, spam protection, etc.). I have a very recent version of Norton Antivirus software installed and running, as well as the malicious software detection tool from Microsoft, but neither program is able to detect this malicious software described above. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, how can it be resolved?

I keep getting port scanned from this IP on sygate firewall, it logs it etc,..... on a UDP port ( what is this)....Anyone know what steps to take on sygate to stop it.... I backtraced it to somewhere in Alaska i believe....it makes 18 hops and returns a whois if sandy2.thehideout.com. Does anyone know about this? The fix or ???
