Dont worry?? Trojans are more than a mere pain. They can install dialers, malware and allow others to control your comp for little fun things like DDOS attacks and proxies for hacks into other systems not to mention stealing personal info stored on the host comp. I had the fun of disinfecting a friends comp that was used as a proxie to hack a local school. Cops werent laughing. Neither was my bud.
1st: Go to BitDefender. It's a free online virus scanner. TrendMicro now charges for cleaning.
2nd: Get a good AV. Norton and Macafee are ok, but use way to much system resources. Kaspersky is rated #1 and uses far less resources. It's kept me malware free for 2 years.
AVG is a good freeware alternative. Also, get a firewall. ZoneAlarm is good and has a free version.
If you cant get to BitDefender because the page is blocked you'll need to edit your HOSTS file. Its at C:\Windows|System32\Drivers|e t c Open it in NotePad and remove all addresses with 127.0.0.1 after it (example: bitdefender 127.0.0.1) then save it. Right click the file, choose properties, and check the 'read only' box, hit apply, and 'ok'. 127.0.0.1 is a loop-back address to block these sites. The read only will keep the malware from re-editing the HOSTS file. It's redundant in todays world of broadband anyway. You can uncheck the 'read only' box after the infection is cleaned out.
As an extra note, most newer types of malware (virus's, trojans,...) can and do copy themselves to the System Restore files so they can be, well, restored. You may have to turn off system restore to fully cleanse the system.
Later taters, and good luck.

Trojan's are a hard one. If you have the full name then I would go to Norton and see if there is a fix listed for the one that you have. Most of the time when I have seen them the computer will need to be formatted to get rid of it.........

Trojans can be low risks as well as medium or high so don't worry about it!
Restore your computer to the day before you received it!
START
ALL PROGRAMS
ACCESSORIES
SYSTEM TOOLS
SYSTEM RESTORE
Choose a date that your computer can return to.
Then scan your computer with Norton or whatever one you have.
You shouldn't need to be concerned from my experience. If neither works (which is highly unlikely) master reboot your computer to factory settings - only if you don't have anything precious saved. If you do that option, you will have to update all your programs and applications which take a few hours.
But it's highly unlikely that the restore and scan will fail your request.
Good luck - not that you need it!

Are you flying without a net? Don't you have McAfee or Norton AV? If so, I suggest you do a full scan ASAP.
