My other programs are fighting witn it and slowing down the computer.

I'm going for the short cut to this problem. I have other spyware softwere that work's wounders for this system. They have a tendency to fight with each other.

Go to add/remove programs option in control panel and un install the software. Altrnatively you can disable its operation when you are using another software. I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

Norton is letting you notice what it quarantined. that's in case it has a record which you fairly choose. Like a puppy. it would be superb to delete it till now you uninstall norton. different anti viruses do an identical factor.

I had a problem with Norton/Symantec and couldn’t ever get through too their support to correct the problem. I had to go to their web page to uninstall software it worked

Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, zap it there. Make sure to deactivate it first though.
And btw, Norton is the best security program there is, you just have to configure it right.

You should what the guy above me said and then get your self Ad-Aware. It is the best thing that takes care of ad and key loggers and spyware. Do yourself a favour and it is free.

Go to rogers.com and there is a list of options pick Norton Anti-spy-ware and Unsubscibe if that don;t work e-mail the rogers.com were it says contact us tell them your problem and they will get in touch with you within 48hrs or less.

why cant you go to control panel and delete it. then go to c drive and chase down any traces and delete it. disable the icon in the tray as well. norton sux.
