There quite a few anti-virus scanners out there like AVG, Avast or Avira. I highly recommend the Avira here: http://www.free-av.com/

so far the best I've found is Avast...finds viri that no other software has found yet that I've ran it thru. Also compatible with every version of windows from 95 thru Vista and has versions available for 2000 and 2k3 Servers. Best out and its 100% free.
