I want to block an entire nation, namely an African scamming nation from visiting my website. Does anyone know to block certain IPs, or a simple method to completely block large groups of people from a certain location?

I've tried two programs (Ad-aware and Xoftspy) to remove this virus from my system, and from what I've been reading, this is a really dangerous virus. I don't want to resort to paying a huge wad of cash for software simply because I'm in the market of purchasing a new computer. Does anyone know of any effective, free programs that can be used to take care of this problem ASAP?

While I have my cable modem...the icon in the tray it shows it off on the modem...the icon shows traffic...out going and in coming while the MODEM IS in the OFF State....when i check the firewall.....it shows traffic in/out.................... WHY?

When I run a scan, nothing? Is there anything I could do to get rid of this problem. Dell suggests I run the Dell PC restore.
I don't want to do this, I will lose to much information that is stored on my computer.

I installed Norton Internet Security recently, after suspecting that someone [people] was monitoring my activities, and haaktools were found and removed from my PC. I still have this creeping feeling that someone is still spying on my activities on the internet. The most disturbing thing is the thought of the contents of some of my mails being read by someone else. Is my email account protected against spyware and hackers? I use yahoo. And how can i completely rid my PC of these intruders - i'm willing to go to any length. Thanks.

I have got a file named Word_document2.pif in my computer. It tries to act as a server whenever I get connected to internet. But my firewall blocks it. I have symantec in my computer. But from previous experiences I know these antiviruses are vulnerable to some extent & I had to remove some trojans & diallers manually. What do I do now?

I asked this in another question, but got no responses. I have a friend who downloads music through his neighbors non-secured wireless connection. I've told him that there must be a way it could be brought back to him, but he always hammers me for details that I don't have. So, if you use a non-secure wireless connection to download, how can you be found out?

I use AVG anti-virus and it has worked very well. However,over the last month I have detected 4 viruses and put them in the virus vault. The heal doesnt work..how do I get rid of these viruses? I use AVG anti-virus,ZoneAlarm,CCleaner,and Spybot search and destroy. The Name of the virus...is 2_z[1].htm and 2_z[2].htm I have tried healing,but it doesnt work. I dont want to mess up..it says that the virus doesnt harm my computer while in the vault,but that I should remove it. Do I have to get a trojan remover or what?
