It would be best to delete KASPERSKY first as having two anti virus could cause a conflict and that would pose problems, that is what I did when I had Norton before.

Even a individual with a small volume of know-how knows that loose AVG does no longer provide adequate protection, it has NO rootkit protection, it has poor detection costs, it fails the eicar virus attempt. Get a greater effective AV, you purely would desire to look at right here & see what proportion situations we see "i've got have been given a plague & AVG won't eliminate it." AVG perhaps the main familiar loose anti virus, yet purely because of the fact it starts off with A & that's the place the ignorant human beings initiate, in simple terms because of the fact ignorant human beings make AVG familiar does no longer advise its a good AV.

You've got the sources for AVG on here, courtesy of other responders. Just thought I'd mention the reason for getting rid of Kaspersky first is that two a/v programs running on one machine will fight each other like cat and dog.

AVGs excellent, make sure it updates.

Yeah, all of the above, BUT delete anything that is in the quarantine folder before un installing Kaspersky!
Or your new anti virus program will detect them!

Go to AOL.com - they have a free Anti-Virus & Anti-Spam Program I believe is called Active Protection. It's free and works beautifully!

AVG, Avast and Antivir are free antivirus products (of course only for home use only).
AVG: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1
Avast: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
Avira Antivir: http://www.free-av.com/antivirus/allinonen.html
From my point of view Avast has the best trojan detection, so I would recommend it. Fisrt be sure to remove Kaspersky. With no valid license it's useless to have it installed.

go to avg.com. you can download anti-virus for free. other features require purchase. you can also use the norton from yahoo for other things, but not full coverage since it also requires purchase. most security sites offer free versions. be sure you turn on windows firewall from the start menu. additrionally, you can download windows defender for free, but live onecare requires purchase.

Go to here and click on the download button. I'd uninstall the other software first.
