Is there anything I can try? Other than throw it out of the window!!

When I click on a folder or shortcut in the Start menu of Windows, I sometimes get this error:

and when I click on 'click here', this is what appears:

I don't know why this is happening. What's wrong?

On my other computer, every time i try opening a task/program nothing happens? Nothing pops up. I tried opening the internet browser but nothing popped up. I tried opening my control panel but nothing happened. What is wrong?

i just installed a new harddrive and everything that i copy to it is blue. the drive is blue in 'my computer' and all files and folders are blue as well. I've never seen this before. and everything seems to be working fine. it's just blue. what's this mean?

I have a disk that i use to burn. But now i want to delete the songs that i have copy into the disk, so that my disk could become blank. Can anyone tell me how to do it or there are no way to do it???

My mate recently got a problem with his laptop (WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM" was either lost or corrupt) He panicked and put in the reinstall CD and restored his laptop to factory settings. Problem is he lost all his personal stuff, photos, music, and his internet connection etc. Is there a way for him to get some of his stuff back?

anyone know a router that has a coverage of around 20 ft or less?

the reason is that my parents want us to stay in one room when we're on the internet. don't ask why, i don't know. and there's no way i can argue w/ them b/c thier stubburn, so please don't try to give advice on trying to convince them otherwise.

For some reason I cannot play StarCraft with my DSL connection. And the only thing that I can think of is it's the ports are not operating properly or something to that effect. So I would like to ask how can I fix this problem? How would I go about getting a program (that is safe) that I can use to get my ports open?

i am having trouble with my internet explorer.... everytime i have to use internet.. i have to go to my documents and type in the address box in there of where i want to go... i can't directly open internet explorer...internet explorer used to be an icon on my desktop but it isn't there anymore... i have tried to download it onto my computer but it says its already on it so i can't download it again but i've tried to find it but i can't... i've also tried mozilla and that doesn't open up either... anybody have an idea of what could be wrong?

I am trying to create and size a JPEG image to print out onto a sheet of standard-size paper and I was wondering what dimensions to use (in pixels) so that the image will fill the page nicely without cropping or being too small.

I'm running WindowsXP on a laptop and I need the computer to read the CD drive first. Currently it's reading the hard drive first. How do I get into that menu that let's me change which drive the computer reads first on startup?
