Today my computer sounded like the fan was hitting something so I decide to clean it. While I was cleaning in one of the holes I saw a little red tail waving around. Sometimes I can hear it moving around in my little tower thing. I can't unscrew and take it apart because the screws used have a round hole so I can't open with a screw driver. What should I do? The fan isn't killing it and I'm afraid if it dies in there it'll rot in my computer and carry some dieseases. Is there anything I can do?

I'm going to get a MacBook and I went to the official Apple store and Im just wondering why the black MacBook is $200 more than the white one when the only difference other than the color of course is that the black ones hard drive is 40GB bigger.... I dont think 40GB is wirth $200. Here's a link.

I believe these are just installation files, but I have many games and this folder is taking up almost 5 gigs worth of space. I was just wondering if I need these files to run the games? Thanks!

My system's RAM is 512MB.
When i start the system and check for task manager > performance it displays that i am consuming about 450 MB eventhough i have anot used any applications.But really the applications at startup consumes that much of RAM..?
I don't have many applications even in my start up also except yahoo msngr and etc..
Also the songs get obstructed when i browse the net...
Please guide me the solutions for both the problems...

I have burned several cd's using nero and they played great in my car. I recently burned a cd using real player and it won't work. All cds are CD-R and i tried the lowest write speed. any suggestions? I no longer have nero.

I am going to sell my old PC, and want to remove all the programs from it, as they are all licensed to me. I thought I had successfully uninstalled all programs and Windows 98 (yeah, it's old!), but when I restarted, the backup kicked in and recovered Windows, all the programs I'd just removed, and a bunch of other programs that had been uninstalled ages ago. Help?!

I have 3 used computers: a Packard Bell from 1996, a Dell from 1999, and an HP from 2001, that I don't need anymore and I want to sell them. My parents first told me to sell them, but then they told me that even if you reformat the hard drive, someone can get your personal data from it, so they told me it's not safe to sell them. First, is this true? I know how to reformat the hard drives and restore them, but if I sold them afterwards, would they really be able to somehow extract our personal info? Second, what would be the best way to sell them? I know I can post an ad on craigs list or whatever, but how do I figure out what's a fair amount to sell each for? I have about 3 weeks to do this before I go back to college, I'd really appreciate some help on this!

I want to save space on my C Drive, so, Can I delete my old restore points with no risks?
If there are, what are those risks? Because I had create several restore points before.
I had heard that if you delete the old restore points then you can't defragment the drive again.

ok so i have a dell c521, which i got pretty much 3 months ago. and since the first week the comp would freeze once and maybe twice or 3 times a week.
when it freezes, the screen goes crazy with all these crazy colors and then it just hangs.
i know its not a virus because it began even when i didnt have an internet connection.
could it be because i added the ram that cam with my older dimension 8400?
anyway umm what should i do? its kinda annoying when it freezes and i really want it to stop.
the comp came with vista but i reformated the hard drive and installed xp sp2 over it.
and umm yea, any one have any clue what i should do?

I recently signed up to Verizon DSL. How do I get my emails using Outlook Express. I am also on Cox cable which I receive my Cox emails using Outlook Express but I might cancel Cox later. I'm able to read/send emails on the Verizon email website but I like the way Outlook Express is set up better. I don't know what my pop server is or how to find it. I rather do this on my own instead of calling a Verizon tech. Any help is appreciated!

when i turn my computer on it says 'your system has recovered from a serious error' <- something along those lines. and when i try and sign into windows msger plus i get a blue screen with lots of writing which doesnt even stay up long enough to read the 1st few words and then my computer restarts. ive uninstalled and installed windows live and it hasnt helped anybody else had/have this problem?
