I want to save space on my C Drive, so, Can I delete my old restore points with no risks?
If there are, what are those risks? Because I had create several restore points before.
I had heard that if you delete the old restore points then you can't defragment the drive again.

Thanks guys, but it seems you have no idea of what I'm talking about, I know how to delete my old restore points, and I'm sure you should read some manuals or something because there is no need of turning off the Restore options to delete my old restore points. The only thing I need to know is if there are any risks. I need serious answers.

You can safely delete all of the restore points if you want - and it won't affect defrag.

Personally, I'd keep at least one (maybe create a new one if you're happy with how your system is performing now, and then delete all the previous one's).

Regards,
Derek

Defrag is NOT tied to Restore in any way.

In order to delete Restore points you have to turn the restore function off, and then reboot the PC. Then if you want to establish any Restore points you have to turn the restore function back on and manually create a restore point.

And yes, running defrag after you delete all the old restore points is a good idea.

Right click on my computer.
Click properties.
Click System Restore tab
Check 'Turn off system restore on all drives'
Click ok.

I have done this and can still defragment just fine.

I run a backup from time to time using ghost just in case i want to restore my entire c drive.
