Forget the Repairman, that costs money!
Switch off your computer and turn it back on, when it starts tap F8 and a menu will appear, choose Last Known Good Configuration. If that doesn't work do it again but choose Safe Mode.If it still isn't working then you could try a full system restore by starting your PC with the recovery disk in, you'll lose all your data but it should get rid of the problem.
If any of the above works download AVG, it's better than norton in my opinion.

You are probably so infected, that your computer is doing too many things at once. See if you can go into safe mode and open programs. It is likly that you will have to do an OS reinstall, but the good news is that you probably wont have to buy any new parts, or buy a new 'puter. Free music isn't free

It could be a Possiblity that the system files are gone bad... Or it could be a Possibliity that theSystem is infected by a Spyware.. Check in Safe mode,, by pressing F8 as soon as u turn on the system.. Try to do system restore, It can restore settings back to the date when it was working fine...START>ALL PROGRAMM>ACCESSOR>SYSTEM TOOLS> SYSTEm RESTORE... If that doesn't help,, try SFC /SCANNOW from RUn Promp...... last thing which can be tried is repair reinstallation using the disc

sometimes my computer does that. try to restart it and if you can't figure out what's wrong, get a repairman.
