i have somehow knocked off the toolbar for font size, style type etc and also the bulllet points and numbers. cant get it back anywere and its wreckin my head. please please help !!!

My computer most of the time dosent shut down it just stops on the blue screen saying 'Windows is Shutting Down' although sometimes it works but mostly it dosent and also Hibernation does the same so is there any way to fix this?

I have all the application disk, drivers and OS disk.
My Registry is messed up , it will not regonize my modem and I can't get on the Internet so thats why I want to ghost out the computer and start over. I've tried reconfiguring but that didn't work.
Is there a way to get a boot disk? Gateway 2002 XP

i only use 2 fingers, one or each hand, and some times my thumb to press the space button. but people say im a slow type cos i can only type around 40 per min. teach me to type faster.

Recently, we had a power outage, which we had prior warning of.

Thinking I was being clever, I stuck our phone system onto a UPS, and attached it to a generator, thinking it would keep our phone system running (that being the lifeblood of our business)

It didn't work. Every time the generator spiked, the UPS went to battery mode, I could hear it every few seconds 'clicking'

Is there anyway I could get around this problem, as I know it will happen again. The UPS I used was an APC Smart-Ups 1500

Whenever I restart my machine the "found new hardware icon shows in the task bar and then the hardware wizard starts up. I don't have any new hardware connected or recently installed. All this takes so much time during startup and then I have to cancel everything. How can I stop this from happening?

Basicly my daughter hit some buttons (CTRL+ALT+right arrow, it turns out, based on answers info) and rotated my display 90 degrees left. On answers I got a response telling me how to fix it.

My question is, if I'd called Tech Support, how much would the call have cost? So, how much per minute is the call, and how long do you think it'd've taken them to answer?

I would ideally like it to have a numeric keyboard which allows users to submit data to a central point where the information can be processed. On big screens the question appears, for example "What is the answer to xyz, a) blah b) blah c) blah etc
Users then hit "c" on the keyboard and it's transmitted to the receiver and I am able to configure what to do with the results.

The box asks for a CD-rom to enable "Audio enabling to be installed by Windows".This is a new(Xmas2006) Dell PC.Pressing Alt;&F4 eventually deletes the message,but it pops up each time a new application is opened.Explorer doesn't list a file for Audio enabling,diagnostics lists this as a fault occuring many times an hour.Any suggestions how to move this pop-up,please?
