got an HP pc it has a dvd drive, but apparently need a dvd driver to be able to use it !!! where can I get this software and how much will it cost???

Hi, i recently set up an e-bay account and posted some items on there to sell. One particular item was sold on Sunday morning and a few hours later i received an e-mail from e-bay suspending my account. The e-mail read:
'The results of the following listings have been cancelled due to bidding activity that took place without the account owners authorisation (then lists the item in question). We have temporarily suspended the account and we are working with the account owner to prevent any additional unauthouised activity since the account owner did not initate these bids.'
I am the account owner and i authorised the sale/auction/bid but other that this email have not heard of any problems/contact from e-bay. I have contacted e-bay but as yet they are yet to reply. Can anyone help/explain??!?

I find it difficult to 'pick up' on the white 'arrow' when selecting from desk top etc; . Is there a way to make the arrow/pointer black and slightly larger??? Easy answer please I'm a novist.

....recover but can't open the pictures.?
i lost some picture by delete those accidently from my sd card ...i use a software to recover those pictures and i found all...but the problem is that for most of them i can't open?.......pictures are in jpeg format.........i recover photos that i delete recently but the photos i delete 3 weeks ago are not opening?..............can any body help me on this because this is realy important for me./

I was messing around trying to make one of my folders look diffrent than the others and while i did succeed I also somehow Made it that when you double click on a folder it opens it up as a search. So every time I open a file now I have to Right click and select open and that gets very tiresome. Any ways I tried reseting my folder options to default and that doesn't seem to work (or I'm doing it wrong) and trouble shooting is getting me no where. Please someone help!!!

I have a refurbished computer with 1.04Ghz AMD Athlon processor. It has 512Mb of RAM and runs using Windows XP. I have 40Gb. hard drive with 35% free space. I also have a 6Gb secondary drive and an 80Gb. extrenal drive.
I have the Microsoft Windows firewall running, also fully up to date Norton/Symantech and Spybot anti-spywear.

About 4 weeks ago I upgraded from dial-up to TalkTalk broadband. This works more or less smoothly, but increasingly I find it impossible to power down the computer. This occurs whether I have the modem switched on or not and wether I am switching off or "re-booting. I usually closes part of the way before freezing. I then have to switch off using the power button. My understanding is that this is damaging the hard-drive. Anyone any idea what the problem is and if their is a patch or upgrade to deal with the problem? Thank you for your assistance.

Its telling me that 'no device found'! HELP!!
Also, we seem to have lost the 'standby' from the shut down and a few keys on the keyboard are swapped around or missing. I also installed CA Anti-virus at the time...could this be the cause of the problems?

I tried to burn several episodes of a tv show with AVI DVD Burner, it converts maybe 6 episodes and supposedly burns it, but after the first episode the screen goes white, dvd player errors out. Burning them with Cucusoft video converter and burner it puts 5 episodes on 2 disc. 26 episodes is 4.3 GB, won't burn all on a 4.7GB disc. Can anyone help please?

I bought a movie for DOWNLOAD from a movie site. (I paid for the movie with a credit card and then was allowed to download the movie). Anyway, I wanted to import it into Windows Movie Maker to crop it to my liking. It then says it cannot import the video due to copyright protection.

How can I import it to windows movie maker? Would it work if i uploaded it to a hosting site then re-downloaded it? Is there a way to crop the video without windows movie maker?

I mean tech is fast they can fit twice as much data in the same amount of space, and this goes on and on soon a standard laptop will be the size of an ipod with twice the amount on it. Will a computers take over from the human brain.
