I download a lot of movies from the internet, most of them are bin and cue files that i normally burn with nero and dump onto a cheapie cd+, what i want to know would the quality of the movie be any better if i used more expensive CD or is it totally irrelvent, if so does anyone have any good reccomendations

As a bonus question, would you be so kind as to help me find employment in the San Francisco area? I turned on my computer twice and the same thing has happened. Once it has loaded up I get a serious message saying the computer has some kind of serious error and needs to be restarted and a one minute timer begins. I then have little time to do anything before the computer turns off again.

This problem began when I was looking at my Temporary Internet Files. I went to delete them - thought this was a good thing. Then, after a minute or so of deleting files the error message came up.

Now have totally disconnected internet and tried to turn on computer again - seems to be fine (for the past few minutes.)

Now running a virus scan and am a lot less worried now than when I started writing this question (phew!). Any advice now?

Ok, I just decrypted a DVD (the dvd is dvd-rw, in which I recorded a movie off t.v) using the Decryptor, I want to know what do I do next so I can eventually edit the movie in Windows movie maker. (I'm a first time movie editor, and I do not understand all these Coverters and file types) I would really appreciate somebody's help.

My NERO version 6 doesnt burn a lot of files including RAR, split AVI files using HJ split, as well as numerous other files it doesnt recognise. I never had this problem until I replaced my old burner and needed to load a program to allow me to burn with my new one. Is there is free program available to allow me to burn anything of any format.

I have XP and Fedora Core 6 on a dual-boot method. I want to get 3D Desktop or Xgl running on it. I also need to know if there is an easy way (without going into command line) to install an Intel 3945ABG Wireless Adapter. I am not going to waste time trying to figure out how to install these things with the command line, maybe Linux is not for me. First, I need my wireless adapter up and running. I got Fedora from a magazine (5-discs). So I want to know how to install the software on Disc 3 and 4. thanks for any help, tips, etc.

Its a SANYO vpc-503. It came with a disc with a program on it and I put it in, but there arent any instructions. I want to put pics on Yahoo/ myspace and such. I'm not a coputer savvy person- I need PRECISE step by step instructions. Can you help or are there any other options?

Okay, I have an old computer that was pieced together, but worked great. It has a dial up modem that was added to it. However, my newer used computer I purchased, only has a ethernet connection. I want to take the dial up modem out of the older computer and place in the newer one. Does it need to go into a specific slot? Or any vacant slot on the back? Any other tips would be helpful. What would be my next steps?? Thanks.

I have a MacBook Pro which uses Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger and I am experiencing the following problem:

The application associated with .exe file extensions is QuickTime. This was probably done by mistakenly associating that application when downloading a file. However now, my computer tries to open all .exe files with QuickTime, which is a problem. I have searched in Preferences, on the Apple Help on the computer as well as on the online Help on the Apple website for a solution but I have not been able to find one.

Would someone know the steps I need to go through to disassociate .exe file extensions and QuickTime please?

i have a floppy disc drive and the drivers and device are working properly, but there is no shortcut to the floppy drive on my computer so i cant access the drive. is there any way i can find a shortcut and put it in the my computer section with the D drive?? please help!!!!!!!!!!!
