Ok, I just decrypted a DVD (the dvd is dvd-rw, in which I recorded a movie off t.v) using the Decryptor, I want to know what do I do next so I can eventually edit the movie in Windows movie maker. (I'm a first time movie editor, and I do not understand all these Coverters and file types) I would really appreciate somebody's help.

hmmm after u decrypt a DVD u have left some .vob files... search google for a .vob to .avi converter
then get the divx codec- also search it so u can play .avi
the u can open the files with windows movie maker- but remember, video editing requires a very fast system and lots of HD

Open your WMM and then drag it onto the list...
If it doesnt work with your decrypted file..then c what if the below tool works with it

im not sure the best way coz i dont use windows movie maker ... but the way i would do it is get autogk to convert the dvd to avi ... then use virtual dub to extract the clip i wanted from the avi ... then use tmpgenc to convert the clip to mpeg1 ....
