my OS is Win XP now I want to install Linux on it. what is the procedure of installing linux ?

I downloaded the new flash player multiple times, and my JavaScript is definitely turned on. I restarted my computer after everytime I tried to download the damn flash player, yet, YouTube still insists that I either have an old version of flash or my Java is turned off. Please help... I've been trying to make this work for over a week now, and it's driving me insane.

Remember when I made that post about my urination problem ? My real age is 15 years, not 5. I didn't press the button labled " 1 " hard enough. I sometimes make typos on several sites. What is wrong with me ?

My computer has been running unimaginably slow lately. It crashed about a week ago for no reason, displaying a blue screen that said "physical memory dump" and basically saying it stopped all programs cause it couldnt find some .dll file. I've system restored twice so it's no software im using, and ive scanned with every adware, spyware, and virusware tool I know. It's becoming increasingly annoying; crashes at random and takes half an hour to restart. Someone suggested it could be one of my drivers, but I don't have any idea about that. Any ideas on what could be wrong and how to fix it?

I just spilt slurpee on my brand new Logitech MX 3000 keyboard! Ugh! So far, I been cleaning it with Q-tips and Multisurface cleaner.. But 2-3 of the keys still feel sticky to my touch to where I find it completely annoying.

What should I do?

I tried this with AVI and it put a 1 1/2 hour movie on 1/4" of disc. When I wached it it froze half way through.

I had an error message come up about something EXPLORER.exe or something like that and i clicked end and it made me restart the computer (im on an Acer Aspire 5000 Laptop) and when i clicked my name to log in it said something about how it couldnt startup properly and now that im logged in EVERYTHING is deleted from my computer and its basically restarted. all my music, pictures, and everything else is gone. yet when i go to see how much memory is left its still the same as when it got restarted. so my files have to be somewhere in the computer but where are they?? what did i do?? how can i fix it??

I just bought the Desperate Housewives game. My computer is less than 2 years old so I thought it'd be fine, but it's telling me I only have 59MB of video memory and I need 63MB. 59 seems like an odd number to have. Is there a computer setting I can change to free up some video memory and get me the extra 4MB I need?

I just bought a new Toshiba Satellite laptop, and I will be leasing an older used laptop from my job for $100, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what I could do with the leased laptop. I also have a 6 year old Compaq desktop that I will attempt to replace the HD, and add memory to get 512mb. Any opinions or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a typewriter. I got the app straight from the institurion ( they don't have online apps.) Does anyone know how I could transfer the app somehow to my computer so I could fill it out there? I tried scanning it and then transferring it to another program where I thought I could use the Text button. But I was having a hard time and I got irritated. Can anyone help?

ok, i bought the tunes and want to make a cd with some songs from itunes and some i bought from fye, but i cant transfor them, and i cant burn it to a disc then burn it again. my media player shows the ones that i bought as not being bought, but why? i need help plz hep me

I deleted .Net from my computer, which is itself a user. Now it seems that my administrator account may not be recognized as an administrator, because anytime I uncheck anything from msconfig startup tab, I get an error message saying Access Is Denied, although it makes the change. The bad part is that it also sets ALL of my windows services to "Disabled" anytime I uncheck anything from msconfig startup tab. I then have to go through each one and set them back to Automatic. How do I fix this problem? I've tried checking my permissions in regedit and giving each user complete access. I'm also ran the security configurations from the mmc.
