Try restoring your computer to it's configuration a day before you clicked on that ".exe" file.

Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Select the "restore to an earlier date" and then pick a day about 2 days before you clicked on the .exe file.

Click on Yes/apply/ok (whatever launches the restore function)

This should bring your computer back to where it was and all your files should be present.

Hope this fixes your headache.

OK looks like you have been hit by the Java bug, goto My Computer - Local Disk (C:) - DOCUMENTS&SETTINGS and look for you as a user, you may find that you are listed twice, one will be JUST your login name the other one may have a '.xxx' extension, if so then that one has all of your Documents, Pictures etc.you will have to cut and paste all of your files.

you need to disable 'Debugging' in Internet Explorer, if it ever asks you again say NO

If it's a virus Restore probably won't work. If it doesn't work, take it to a reputable repair shop before you do something that will cause all your data to vanish.

Get firefox now. The IE is rele slow, and has a lot of problems, i just got firefox, and it is sooo helpful. Its fast, and you will most likely never have that problem again. Its free, and takes no more than 10 minutes.
