Right click the internet explorer icon
you should see three buttons...delete cookies delete temp folders and clear history. Push the clear history button now.
If you have an explorer icon shortcut...you will have to go to control panel, and right click the internet explorer icon there. Then follow the above.

In IE7:
Tools-->Internet Options-->Browsing History--> Delete
In Firefox:
Tools-->Options-->Privacy-->Clear Now(under private Data)

Open the Internet browser, click on tools, then options, then click on history. You'll figure it out from there.
