BattleField 2 (demo) can't work on my PC.I installed it from the APC DVD,after intalling it I tried to open it,But it couldn't!! After opening it-the screen turns blank(which usually happens before playing a PC game)then it goes back to my desktop!! Any ideas or how can I fix this.Please!! Thank you all for answering.

It signs on, after a few times of clicking sign on and then says connection lost. It sucks i know my connection is working just fine. What could it be.

Hi. Is there a way that that the guest account can be blocked from accessing the internet?? I still want to be able to have internet explorer installed on the computer so that i cna access it, but the guest account can not?? any help appreciated

If I want to set up a back-up system for the two PCs and laptop in my house, do I simply add up the sizes of the hard drives and find a black box in that combined size? How much space do I really need?

Well I'm writing an article about "What if some body writes a virus in Artificial Intelligence (AI)". Before I want to publish this article i would like you guys comment on this topic.

Ok, first of all I was on myprofilemix.com trying to search for cool layouts for my myspace page. All of a sudden my keyboard stops. I noticed that the light for the cap lock indicaor ws fading away a couple of days ago, but I didn't know the whole keyboard would stop working. Now I'm here using this stupid on-screen keyboard that is annoying because I'm typing 20 times slower. Please help me, and please give me only proffesional sensible answers. Thanks.

How do I make my web search faster... or increase internet and computer speed without registering to a company or paying? I tried disk clean up, disabling screen saver, removing unnecessary files and clening recycle bin and temporary internet files....... yet its speed is too slow for me?

I keep hearing this music....a beat that keeps repeating itself... almost like trance music on downers. I'm assuming it's some kind of pop-up ad? Spyware? Adware? But there is no window....no way of "closing it out". Where the heck is it coming from and how do I stop it? It's seriously annoying and just chimes in my ear out of nowhere.

Or am I just imaging it? *sigh*

i installed windows xp on my hard drive, i had to re-install it 4 times, and everytime i reboot my computer it asks me which windows xp to boot ...the other three have been deleted but they still show up, is there away to delete the other three?

My girlfriends computer when it starts up says BIOS Check Sum Error and then asks to insert a disk. I do not have the disk, and we have to insert an old startup disk from another computer and switch the thing on and off till it gets something it can use. I need to know how to fix the BIOS or whatever is wrong with the contraption. I do know a thing or two about computers, so any instructions would be great.The computer is a HP Pavilion a1510n and runs Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. Any sugestions or instructions will be a great help. Thanks.

I have configured the Global Size Limits for both sending and receiving to 9,534KB. I need 2 users to receive emails of up to 27,239KB, I configured the specific size limits for both users to that ammount and when someone (external) tries to send an email to one of these guys, the sender receive a message that says:
Final-Recipient: rfc822;
Action: failed
Status: 5.2.3
X-Display-Name:

I've spent 2 days trying to find a solution in Microsoft Knowledge Base and found interesting stuff, but still have the same problem.
