Using start click on your control panel. It will have you (you must be the administrator) others, (if you have others) and guest. The screen will ask what you want to do, change password, etc. You can turn guest off, or change your password, or limit what the guest can do. I think they can get on the internet if you don't shut guest off, but you could put internet access available for administrator only. Explore your control panel, lots of cool stuff there to play with. Tess

I don't believe there is an easy way to do that in Windows XP Home. Perhaps in Windows XP Professional, though. There probably are programs that will limit specific user access but those will probably cost money.

There's probably better programs out there, but I found this one.http://www.download.com/Dr-Salman-s-Window-Security-Toolkit/3000-2092_4-10435976.html?tag=lst-0-3

When you signed to the Internet, you used your
user name & password and after that, there's
a small little box asking you if you like your
user name & the password to be remembred?
leave it blank ,this way no body can access the
Internet without the password.
