I keep hearing this music....a beat that keeps repeating itself... almost like trance music on downers. I'm assuming it's some kind of pop-up ad? Spyware? Adware? But there is no window....no way of "closing it out". Where the heck is it coming from and how do I stop it? It's seriously annoying and just chimes in my ear out of nowhere.

Or am I just imaging it? *sigh*

Sounds like you have a crap load of spyware in your computer.

"Spyware and adware are spy tracking programs that are installed on your computer without your permission. These hidden files are typically stored into your computer's resident memory, registry, browser, cookies, files, and more.

If you have been seeing excessive popup advertisements, new toolbars on your Internet Explorer web browser, consistent computer browser crashes, browser start page hijacking, or a drastic slow down in computer speed, you are mostly likely a victim of spybots.

These hidden spybot files give the power of your PC to others and allow companies to monitor your Internet browsing habits and bombard you with annoying popups. The majority of Internet users are very familiar with shareware, freeware, media players, interactive content, and peer to peer file sharing, such as music. What many people don't realize is that many of these mentioned programs contain code that allow the developers or partners of these developers to collect and disseminate information about those using them."

So it sounds like you need to download a spybot remover...something like Spyware Doctor http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/ which does cost...but it's worth it in the long run.

And here is something you can run online for free...

Good luck... you might have to reformat your hard drive if it continues....YAY!!!
