you need codecs to decode the audio you can get them from //www.free-codecs.com/K_Lite_Codec_Pack_download.htm get the k-lite codec pack its free and no viruses or any other bad stuff

are you asking will they play without audio, yes they can, depending on if the mpeg file was made with sound
